Welcome to the site! My name is Molly Bagg and I created The Bee Green Project during my junior year at the University of Tampa. I was born and raised on Cape Cod, MA, a  small but beautiful area filled with beaches, woods, and estuaries. Needless to say, coming to live in a big city was quite a shock after living on the Cape for my entire life, and I was amazed at how humans have literally altered every square foot of land for their own purposes.

The Bee Green Project was created as part of a class assignment, but I am hoping that it will grow into something much more. The professor gave the class a simple, open-ended assignment at the beginning of the semester: find a social issue that you are passionate about and DO SOMETHING. So, I set out with the intention to educate people on how they live more sustainably, and thus the Bee Green project was born.

Here at Bee Green, I believe that we all have a role to play in helping protect our environment. Nature gives us everything for free, and we need to learn that we can’t take it all.  It’s time for us to make a change, one step at a time.
